This tool has extremely universal application possibilities due to the special shape and the offset clamping plates of the gap gauge.
Because of this it is possible to close the hood or trunk lid with the gap gauge mounted. Also with non parallel running clamping edges the gap gauge can be used, as the clamping plates can also be tilted. Because of the strong construction it is possible, through pulling or pressing the mounted gap gauge to change the gap dimension before welding.
